The teams take the floor: wine tourism

After her baccalaureate, Florence spent 5 years in London where she worked at Selfridges and then as a wine waiter at Nicolas to deepen her knowledge of wine. She decided to take a Wine and Spirits Education Trust 2 & 3 diploma which she achieved with honours, and joined Canard-Duchêne in 2018. Florence is in charge of setting up the activities at the Domaine. She studies the local market and adapts the tourist offering to propose unusual activities. In addition to offering cellar visits and tastings, Florence seeks to offer visitors a unique experience in the heart of the vineyard with original well-being activities in the heart of nature: yoga and Pilates classes, an introduction to sabrage with a sabrage diploma, a “Champagne and Cheese” wine and food pairing workshop planned for this autumn, and lunches on the grass in the park in summer. The aim is to make full use of the exceptional location of the Domaine, situated in the heart of the Montagne de Reims in the delightful village of Ludes surrounded by vineyards, a formidable playground for Florence: “I am lucky enough to do a job I love every day in an exceptional setting, living and sharing my passion.
