Vign’Art: the meeting of art and champagne

Gleb et Laurent

Vign’Art, a contemporary art festival held in the vineyards of Champagne, is a poetic invitation to reconnect with Earth. For the third edition, come meet art in the Montagne de Reims, the Côte des Blancs, and the Vallée de la Marne.
These richly symbolic displays will immerse you in the Champagne region’s heritage.
One of these works will be displayed at the House for the entire length of the festival, which runs from May 15 to September 15, 2022.

The festival and its activities

This open-air adventure features 18 different locations to visit as you please.
The 18 pieces of land art, defined as a contemporary art trend, use the framework and materials of nature (wood, earth, stones, sand, rock, etc.), inviting you to stop and reflect.
The creations are displayed outside to get as close to nature as possible. The Vign’Art festival aims to highlight the region’s land and resources. What better setting than the Champagne vineyards, cultural land(s)?

All the works are freely accessible and free of charge. Come and connect with Earth and the origins of champagne!
This 2022 edition provides the opportunity to view several works created in the Marne region in an innovative and environmentally conscious manner (notably through the use of perennial materials for the works).

Oeuvre Symbiose

The place of the human being is particularly challenged by the work “Symbiosis” by Patrick Planchon and Jean-Paul Rahard, which is located in Nanteuil-la-Forêt. It is a powerful symbol of the dialogue between the natural state and man (steel, sheet metal and wood).

Eclat Vignart

In Mancy, the “Éclats” structure by Francine Garnier and Alain Engelaere, both visually and loudly will awaken all your senses. It represents a multicolored tent with numerous ribbon crossings, which change color as you move around. A gentle reminder of the flavors and sensations of a champagne tasting!

Extension du domaine de la bulle

The “Extension of the bubble domain” is created by Erwan Sito, exhibited in Binson-Orquigny. This pinewood sculpture evokes soap bubbles that become champagne bubbles. The projected images are then turned upside down, immersion is guaranteed !

We leave you the pleasure of discovering other artists’ creations with your own eyes…

The art of believing in your dreams in Ludes

The Canard-Duchêne domain, located on the northern side of the Montagne de Reims, has the privilege of exhibiting the work of Gleb Dusavitskiy. As an internationally renowned artist, he creates works in a variety of materials, such as wood, metal, stone, ice, snow and bronze. He likes to experiment with different size proportions, from small indoor works to monumental compositions. It is in the latter format that he has chosen to present his work entitled “I believe I can fly” in the park of the Maison. He invites visitors to take their own responsibilities by exploring the theme of dreams, to believe in themselves and in their own achievements! With willpower and perseverance, everything is possible.
As free spirits since 1868, Canard-Duchêne could not have hosted a more symbolic work in its park.
Especially since this exhibition is interactive: a magnificent structure of two gigantic wings, with an empty space between them. It’s up to you to play! You become a full actor of this art to embody this poetic metaphor. So yes, even if it seems inaccessible to you, flying becomes possible.

Our cuvées are created on a daily basis with this taste for effort and this invitation to escape in mind. Respect for our history and care for our vines allow us to offer you the excellence of the region’s grape varieties in the privacy of our cellars.
As a result of 70 million years of evolution and a unique combination of chalk, sand, clay, and limestone, the soil of the Montagne de Reims provides us with an extraordinary terroir. It also benefits from both continental and oceanic influences.
These assets, which are vital to the production of champagne, drive us to provide a sustainable wine tourism experience in Champagne, with the utmost regard for our environment.

So why not admire the art while enjoying a glass ?

We welcome you from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.
