Info Practiques

Canard-Duchêne welcomes visitors from mid-March to mid-December, Monday to Saturday.
Guided tours of the cellars take place at the following times:
10.45am / 12pm / 2pm / 3.15pm and 4.30pm.

Tours are available in French, English, German and Italian.
The cellars are closed to visitors on Sundays.
Please contact us for public holiday opening times.

The tour includes a guided visit of the vineyards surrounding the Canard-Duchêne estate, (weather permitting), followed by an accompanied visit of a stretch of the 6km of cellars. A complimentary tasting (10cl) of Canard-Duchêne Champagne completes the visit.
The tour provides an insight into the art of Champagne and an opportunity to witness first-hand the historical machinery used in its crafting, including a traditional press, « pupitre », or wooden rack and corking and wirehooding machines.
The rich history of Canard-Duchene is recounted by our expert guides, who talk visitors through the maturing bottles at the heart of the cellars and a permanent exhibition dedicated to Champagne and specifically to Canard-Duchêne Champagnes.

Entry fee: 8 euros
